Kathy Hao

Founder/Owner, CEO

Kathy Q. Hao received her Master of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Northridge in 1997. After years of working for the County of Los Angeles, she moved on to receive her Juris Doctorate degree from University of West Los Angeles, School of Law (UWLA) in 2006.

Jade H. Chen

Associate Attorney

Jade graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2012. Jade has a passion for music, teaching and giving back to the community. She combined those passions through her work as the founding president of the UCR chapter of Music Changing Lives, an organization whose mission is to offer music and art enrichment programs paired with academic support to underprivileged and at-risk youth throughout the Inland Empire. Jade moved on to earn her Juris Doctorate from University of West Los Angeles, where she continued her volunteer work through Teen Court, a juvenile diversion and prevention program, whose mission is to reduce recidivism by offering first time juvenile offenders an alternative to entering the juvenile court system. During her law school career, Jade was the recipient of the Witkin Award for academic excellence in her Contracts class. During her time at UWLA, Jade worked on the defense team for what is known as the “Grim Sleeper Trial” using her background in psychology to aid in the jury selection process.

In February 2020, Jade sat for the California bar exam, which is regarded as the most difficult exam in the nation with an overall passage of only 26.8%. Upon passing, Jade was sworn in by the Honorable Judge Tricia Bigelow of the Second District Court of Appeals.

Jade is an active member of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, California Young Lawyers Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, California Lawyers Association: International law and Immigration Section and the Intellectual Property Law Section. Jade is licensed to practice law in California.
